Business Development Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development consultant to join our team at RentalProtect. This role is pivotal in driving client-to-client sales and business-to-business sales, focusing on establishing and nurturing relationships with developers, contractors, real estate agents, furniture store partners, and construction companies.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, passionate about design, and adept at identifying new business opportunities to enhance our client base and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and prospect potential clients within the interior design industry, including homeowners, developers, contractors and real estate agents . Utilize networking, cold calling, and other strategies to expand our client base.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and convert them into paying clients. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling pitches and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact. Understand their needs, preferences, and objectives to provide personalized service and solutions.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including designers and project managers, to ensure seamless project delivery. Serve as a liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and addressing any concerns.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business growth. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on market analysis.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and estimates to clients, outlining project scope, timelines, and pricing. Negotiate terms and conditions to secure profitable contracts while meeting client expectations.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving any issues or complaints promptly. Seek feedback from clients to continuously improve our products and services.

Claim Consultant

🔍 What You’ll Do:

  • Manage end-to-end claims processes, including receiving, validating, and processing rental protection claims.

  • Liaise professionally with tenants, landlords, and property managers.

  • Gather required documentation and ensure all claims comply with company policy and legal standards.

  • Provide regular updates to claimants and ensure transparent communication throughout.

  • Investigate potential fraudulent claims and escalate when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate records of all claims activities on our system.


What You’ll Need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in claims processing, insurance, or property-related customer service.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and a customer-first attitude.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of rental/property industry or insurance is advantageous.
